Changing Order Entry Status

The created order entry can only be edited, confirmed, or canceled, and cannot be deleted.

 

The three different types of order entry statuses are:

CREATED By default, any order entry created will be in the created status.

CANCELLED On changing the status of the order entry to canceled, the order entry cannot be used for further process.

CONFIRMED The order entry approved by the customer.

 

To change the status of the order entry, perform the following:

1.On the application home page, in the left pane, click Order Order Entry. The Order Entry workbench appears on the right pane like the one shown below:

2.In the order entry workbench, enter any search criteria such as Order Type, Customer, Order Executive, Shipment From, Shipment To, Quotation, Enquiry, From Date, To Date, Order Number, Groupage Number, Status, Transport Ref.(Sea), Transport Ref. (Air), Transport Ref.(Land), Line Service, Service, Supplier, Mode, Cargo Type, or VIP Customer to find the required order entries created.

 

3.Click Fetch. The created order entries will be displayed below.

4.Select the required order entry.

5.Click Edit (edit_icon) icon in the Tool bar. The Order Entry creation page appears in edit mode.

6.Change the Status from CREATED to CANCELLED to cancel the order entry or CONFIRMED to confirm the order entry.

Note: The status once changed cannot be rolled back.

 

7.In the Tool bar, click Save (save_icon_blue]) icon to save the order. A pop-up window appears.

8.Click OK.
