Creating Basis Type |

To create a basis type, perform the following:
1.On the application home page, in the left pane, click Master Basis Type. The Basis Type workbench appears on the right pane like the one shown below:
2.In the right pane, click Add (
) icon in the menu bar.
3.Enter Basis Type.
4.Choose Base UOM, Cargo Basis, Size, Type, Container Type, Freight Terms, and Owner Status from the respective drop-down menus.
5.Enter Description.
6.In Dimension column, perform the following:
a.Enter Length, Width, and Height.
b.Choose UOM from the drop-down menu.
7.In Weight column, perform the following:
a.Enter Tare, Min value, and Max value.
b.Choose UOM from the drop-down menu.
8.In Capacity column, perform the following:
a.Enter Volume, Min Volume, and Max Volume.
b.Choose UOM from the drop-down menu.
9.Enter ISO CODE.
Note: By default, Status will be ACTIVE.
10.Click Save (
) icon to temporarily save the basis type.
11.In the menu bar, click Save (
) icon to save the basis type. A pop-up window appears.
12.Click OK.
