Creating Reference Code

To create a reference code, perform the following:

 

1.On the application home page, in the left pane, click Master Reference Code. The Reference Code workbench appears on the right pane like the one shown below:

2.In the right pane, click Add (add_icon_green) icon in the menu bar.

3.Under Description column, enter a description for the reference code master.

4.Under Domain Name column, enter the domain name for the reference code.

5.Under Domain Type column, choose the domain type as Range or Listing.

6.Under Base column, choose the base for the domain.

7.Under Module column, choose the module under which the reference code should be displayed.

8.Click Save (save_icon_white) icon to save the domain for the reference code. The created domain for the reference code will be displayed in the left hand side of the screen.

9.In the right side, click add (add_icon_white).

10.Under Value column, enter value for the reference code.

11.Under Abbreviation column, enter abbreviation for the reference code.

12.Under Meaning column, enter meaning for the reference code.

13.Under Order by column, choose the order value for the reference code.

14.Under Is Default column, enable it to make the reference code as the default code, if needed.

15.Click Save (save_icon_white) icon to temporarily save the domain for the reference code.

16.In the menu bar, click Save (save_icon_blue) icon to save the reference code. A pop-up window appears.

17.Click OK.
