File upload feature is provided such that based on the containers uploaded in the file, containers should get auto selected for nomination. File should either be in CSV format or Excel. basically this option is used for selecting the containers from the grid.
FILE SELECTION
If few containers are listed, user can select the container one by one manually. However if multiple containers are listed, instead of selecting the container one by one, user can fill the container number in one excel file and upload such that program will automatically match the container numbers available in the file with container listed in the detail grid and automatically select it.
•Once the containers are listed in the detail grid, user will select connecting voyage and then select container one by one.
•Instead of selecting container one by one, suppose assume, 100 containers got listed in the program and user need to nominate only 10 containers, so once the container details appeared in the grid, user can create one csv file with container number and then select file load.
•Once file uploaded, program has to match the container numbers entered in the file and tickmark the containers in grid accordingly.
•Only the containers mentioned in the CSV file should alone be selected from the list for nomination (ten containers). Check box column C should get selected for the ten containers in the container workbench.
EXCEPTION
If suppose, screen has containers A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H. Assume user has entered container A, B, X in the file. So, A and B will get selected in the screen and one exception message ‘Container X is not available for selection - Kindly check’ will be displayed.
Similarly, if more than one container is not available in the grid, all container numbers should be displayed in the exception file. This is just warning exception and user can proceed. All other containers which matches with csv/excel file should gewill bet auto ticked in the screen and allows user to proceed further. This exception is only for information purpose. This exception file should be able to download also.
