Linking User Role and Application Modules

To link an user role and application module, perform the following:

 

1.On the application home page, in the left pane, click Master Status Matrix. The Status Matrix workbench appears on the right pane like the one shown below:

2.In the right pane, in Role select, select the required user role.

3.In Expiry Days, enter the number of days after which the user access permission expires.

4.In From tag, perform the following:

a.Under Document column, choose the module to be linked with the user role.

b.Under Status column, choose the status of the module to be linked with the user role.

c.Under Stage column, choose the stage of the module to be linked with the user role.

5.In To tag, perform the following:

a.Under Document column, choose the module to be linked with the user role as mentioned in the From tag.

b.Under Status column, choose the status of the module to be changed.

c.Under Stage column, choose the stage of the module to be changed.

6.Enable Notify and Status, if required.

7.In the top right corner, click Save to save the user role and module linking.
