Event master

In the Event updation screen, after selecting the container, the next logically possible move events (defined in Event Master) will be listed in the Event code field.

The mandatory fields for each event/move code is defined here.

 

 

 

 

Logical event setup

The events that are logically possible after one event and the fields that can be copied from previous move to the newly updated move are defined here.

 

 

 

Suppose, the container which we are going to update has current move as DSFULL.

 

•In the container event manual entry program, enter the container number. In the event code, DVAN and MTIN will be displayed (since in logical event setup, the next possible events are defined as DVAN or MTIN)

•Assume, we select the new event code as DVAN

•In Event Master, the mandatory fields for DVAN are defined as BL, POL, POD, terminal, Current location. Hence, these fields will be shown as mandatory where?

•In Logical Event setup, the fields to copy are defined as BL, POL, POD, Terminal, Depot for the move DSFULL à DVAN. So, these fields will be copied from DSFULL if available.

•For containers which are updated for the first time, previous move will not be available. In such cases, select the container number and enter the move manually from LOV and proceed.
