Below are the lists of some basic events applicable for a container.

Note: There are also many other events applicable like leasing, transshipment related moves etc.

 

1. When the first event is updated for a particular container, the status is updated as CURRENT.

2. When the second event is updated for the same container, the status of the previous event is marked as HISTORY and the second event status will be marked as CURRENT.

3. For a container having 2 moves updated, if we delete the current event, the HISTORY EVENT status will change back to CURRENT EVENT.

Note: Deleted event(s) will appear in the history block and shown in different color legend.

 

4. Always the new event date/time must be greater than current event date/time

5. Time is also considered in all movements. Move date implies ‘Move date + Move time’. Move time has to be updated and recorded for every event.

   For one container, 2 events can occur on the same date but not on the same time.
