TEUs to be considered based on the container size.

1 TEU = 1* 20 size

So for one 20 FT container, One TEU to be considered. And for one 40 FT container 2 TEUs to be considered.

Example:

Manifest has 5 * 20FT container and 8 * 40 FT container. Then total TEUs to be displayed each column wise is as follows

20 FT → 1 * 20 size = 5 * 20. So, 5 * 1= 5 TEUs  to be displayed under 20 FT column.

40FT → 2 * 20 Size = 8 * 40. So, 8 *2 = 16 TEUs to be displayed under 40 FT column.

Total TEUs → 5 + 16 = 21 TEUs to be displayed under “Total TEUs” column.

Case1:

If user has defined an entry with basis as “TEUs” with currency “AED” and rate as “50” as like below in the setup, then total amount in the Fixed charge calculation to calculate as (Total Quantity * Rate) against the particular BL.

Now in the Commission Posting program if a BL is considered which has  4 TEUs linked (which are defined in Fixed Commission setup) in it then fixed commission amount to get calculated as (Total Quantity * Rate ) = 4 * 50 = 200.

Rate to be auto considered from the setup.

Base  Currency and Base  Amount to be fetched directly from setup. For the above example, In commission posting program,  Currency to be displayed as AED and Total Rate to be displayed as (Total Quantity * Rate) = 200

Case 2:

As explained in Case 2 for the “Units” type, if different currency is used, then system should convert the rate based on the exchange rate defined in the exchange rate master setup.
