Changing Quotation Status

The created quotation can only be edited, confirmed or canceled, and cannot be deleted.

 

The four different types of quotation statuses are:

CREATED – By default, any quotation created will be in the created status.

CANCELLED – On changing the status of the quotation to canceled, the quotation cannot be used for further process.

SEND FOR APPROVAL – The quotation sent for approval to the customer.

 

To change the status of the quotation, perform the following:

 

1.On the application home page, in the left pane, click Quotation Quotation. The Quotation workbench appears on the right pane like the one shown below:

2.In the quotation workbench, enter any search criteria such as From date, To date, Date Type, Quotation, Customer, Provider, Origin, Destination, Enquiry, Number, Executive, Mode, or Status to find the required quotations created.

3.Click Search. The created quotations will be displayed below.

4.Select the required quotation.

5.Click Edit (edit_icon) icon in the menu bar. The Quotation creation page appears in edit mode.

6.Change the Status from CREATED to CANCELLED to cancel the enquiry or SEND FOR APPROVAL to approve the quotation.
Note: The status once changed cannot be rolled back.

7.In the menu bar, click Save (save_icon_blue) icon to save the quotation. A pop-up window appears.

8.Click OK.
