The Event Master is used to store the events of the containers like the different moves of container and its details.
For each move of the container, certain elements are mandatory (e.g., For Discharge Full move, Manifest number is required and for VAN move, Booking release number is required). Hence against every move code, we need to define the fields as required or not required.
Event Master Workbench
Click EQC >> Event Master in the left navigation pane of the Application Home page. The Event Master screen will be displayed. It includes the below columns:
•Move Code - Refers to the abbreviation of the container movement type
•Description - Describes the type of movement done for the container
•Service - Describes the container as empty or full
•Status - Displays Active or Inactive
Editing an existing move
1.To edit a record, select the record and click the Edit icon in the Toolbar. The Edit section will appear on top of the screen (shown highlighted). It displays the below fields.
•Move Code
•Description
•Service
•Abbreviation
•Status
2.Edit the required fields.
3.Click the Edit () icon in the last column to edit the Type of the Field Name as Required or Not Required.
4.Click the Save () icon in the Toolbar to save the record.
Note: Only Active records can be edited.
Adding a new move
1.To add a new event, click the Add icon in the Toolbar. The Add section will appear on top of the screen (shown highlighted).
2.Enter the details in the below fields.
•Move Code - Enter the abbreviation related to the container move
•Description - Enter the description of the move type
•Service - Select the service as FULL, MTY or TSP
•Abbreviation - Enter the abbreviation related to the container move
•Status - Select the status as Active
3.In the Type column, select Required or Not Required.
4.Click the Save () icon in the Toolbar to update the record.
Notes:
✓One move code can be entered only once, duplicate move codes are not allowed.
✓Move code should be unique.
