The Demurrage Detention Setup Master is used to setup demurrage, storage, and detention charges for the containers.

Demurrage Tariff is defined as the charge levied by the shipping line to the customers for storage of the containers after the allowed free days of storage. For example, the demurrage tariff is applied to the customers if they have not taken delivery of the container for unpacking after the allowed free days of container storage.

Detention Tariff is defined as the charge levied by the shipping line to the customers for not returning the empty container to the nominated empty depot after the expiry of the allowed free days. For example, the detention tariff is applied to the customers if they have not returned the empty container to the nominated empty depot after unpacking after the expiry of the allowed free days.
